Any chance of a new or improved ACU?
I’ve heard a lot of enlisted personnel complain about the quality of the newly phased acu including the velcro for patches and rank (as opposed to them being sewn) to the frequent breaking of drawstrings for the cargo pant pockets. Any idea if the department of the army is trying to fix the problem by re-designing the current issue or working the kinks out? Or are they just sticking with the current issue with all the problems they’re having. Just asking out of curiosity.

I saw a couple of articles in the Army Times about ACUs
22 June 2009 Army Times was about possible changes to the ACU:
* tougher
* less velcro
* redesigned pockets
9 June 2009 was about the camo
